Joe and Judy were our best friends for many years. We did everything together, from playing cards to traveling to spending Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve together.
We watched movies at their house on Friday nights, (well, Joe, Judy and David did while I fell asleep on their couch). We went dancing at the Eagle on steak night. We held both of my daughters’ wedding showers at their home. When we moved to Colorado, Joe and Judy made it a point to travel up to see us regularly.
They remained true friends, celebrating our victories and quietly supporting us through our struggles. Our children grew up together. The Koke family was and still is an integral part of our lives.
I have missed them every day since we moved away. I know that Joe is finally back with Judy, probably still keeping an eye on us and our kids. Rest in Peace, my wonderful friend. You are loved and missed.
